In 2022, a father and daughter set out to build something together.

After more than 25 years as a television news anchor and reporter, Jamie Holmes knew how to find a story.
He also knew how many never made the evening news.
People building businesses. Neighbors serving their communities. Work that quietly changes lives.
In 2022, he and his daughter Hannah founded Top Story Studios in Orlando, bringing together his newsroom experience and her work in filmmaking and digital media.
Two cameras. One belief: those stories deserved to be told.
Founder & CEO
Jamie Holmes has been an anchor and television news reporter for more than 25 years. He's covered some of the biggest stories in the nation, from the Pulse massacre, to countless hurricanes, to dangling chads. He now runs Top Story Studios, which focuses on telling the stories that aren't being told by the mainstream media. The company specializes in corporate and non-profit stories that build brand loyalty and audience compassion.

Hannah Holmes co-founded Top Story Studios with her father in 2022, bringing a fresh perspective on digital media, technology, and storytelling. Her experience spans website and app development, video production, editing, and aerial cinematography as an FAA-certified drone pilot. Her work has taken her across the United States and around the world, strengthening her passion for stories that make a difference. Outside the studio, Hannah is pursuing her dream of becoming a physician.

How we’ve grown
